The fourth edition of Qatar National Dialogue on Climate Change (QNDCC) will bring speakers and participants together to examine the impacts of climate change. Co-hosted by Earthna Center for a Sustainable Future(Earthna) and the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC) will take place on October 1-2 at the Qatar National Convention Centre. The event will see the support of the German Embassy Doha and German Industry andCommerce Office in Doha, Al-Attiyah Foundation, QNB and DHL Express Qatar.The details were announced during a press conference, held at Qatar Foundation’s ThinkBay.
The event will share ideas and best practice and develop strategies related to adaptation, eco-tourism and nature-based solutions, the pathway from COP28 to COP29, carbon management and emissions mitigation.
The press conference was attended by Dr Gonzalo Castro de la Mata, Executive Director, Earthna, Eng. Ahmed Mohammed al- Sada, Assistant Undersecretary for Climate Change Affairs at MoECC, Ouassim Alami, Strategic Initiatives Advisor, Qatar Foundation, COO advisor, Mohammed Abdulla Jassim al-Muhannadi, spokesperson for Ministry of Youth and Sports a Strategic Partner of QSW 2024 and Dr Ali al-Marri, Manager, Quality and Safety Department at Public Works Authority (Ashghal).
