Qatar Charity (QC) has concluded the evaluation of the entries submitted by the female student teams from preparatory and secondary schools participating in the ‘Kashta Watan’ programme, implemented in collaboration with Qatar Museums. The selection of the winners has been finalised, and their announcement and honouring will take place soon, a statement said yesterday. The teams' works were judged according to criteria that included stamping their ‘Kashta’ passports from at least four museums, submitting a report detailing the team's efforts in promoting the concept of domestic tourism and introducing museums, and designing a distinctive pin that reflects the spirit of the museums and could be printed and sold in the museums' gift shops. The programme aims to enhance the values of patriotism and loyalty to the nation, highlighting QC's role in promoting such values and fostering community partnerships with local entities. As part of the programme, the students visit both public and private museums where their experiences are documented, and their programme passports are stamped. Subsequently, they submit creative reports along with their stamped passports, which are then evaluated to select the winners.QC launched the ‘Kashta Watan’ programme in January. The museums, which stamped the ‘Kashta’ passports and exerted exceptional efforts in implementing the programme and receiving the students, are the National Museum of Qatar, Mathaf - Arab Museum of Modern Art, the Museum of Islamic Art, and the Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum.
