Al-Kuwari emphasized the importance of authors taking the necessary steps to protect their intellectual property rights, ensuring the preservation of their literary works. She noted Qatar's active membership in numerous organizations, including the Arab League and international organizations. For instance, she served as Chair of the Arab League's Intellectual Property Technical Committee.

Al-Kuwari pointed to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry's digital transformation efforts, enabling authors to complete all intellectual property protection procedures through the ministry's website within minutes.

Speaking to Qatar News Agency (QNA), Director of the Ministry's Cultural Seminars Project Jamal Fayez explained that the organization of this seminar falls within the Ministry of Culture's cultural season and the international days agenda adopted by the United Nations. He considered it one of the most important seminars that concern writers, authors, and other stakeholders in the intellectual fields.

Fayez stressed that Qatar has made significant strides in protecting the rights of creators, stating that authors can now protect their literary works by obtaining a local deposit number through the Dar Al Kutub Al Qatariya and an international ISBN (International Standard Book Number).
