A number of private schools across Qatar have either declared a holiday or announced online classes Tuesday on account of expected adverse weather conditions.

Qatar University announced that learning and work will be remote for all students and staff Tuesday, 'due to the weather conditions and in the light of the procedures followed in this regard'.

Birla Public School informed parents that "all in-school classes from LKG to Grade 12 will be suspended due to the extreme harsh weather forecast. Please take care as safety is the prime concern. Please note that there will be no staff in the school, so do not send students to school. The loss of working day will be compensated in the coming days."

Ideal Indian School informed parents that teachers will conduct online classes for Grades 4 to 12 after sharing the zoom link in the class groups. "Parents are requested to make necessary arrangements to join the online classes."
