Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index rose at the beginning of Thursdays trading by 0.88 %, adding 84.91 points to its balance, and rising to the level of 9776 points, compared to the close of Wednesdays session, with support from all sectors.
QSE figures attributed the positive performance to the Communications sector by 1.54 %, the Banking and Financial services sector by 1.39 %, the Consumer Goods and Services sector by 0.44 %, the Insurance sector by 0.35 %, the Industrial sector by 0.28 %, the Real Estate sector by 0.27 %, and the Transportation sector by 0.24 %.
At around 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 2,298 transactions worth QR 71,403 million, distributed among 35,010 million shares. (QNA)
