The Police Academy, represented by the Police Institute for Women, held the first Ramadan Taekwondo Championship on Tuesday.

This was, according to a statement by the Ministry of Interior (MoI) on X, in collaboration with the Qatar Taekwondo, Judo and Karate Federation.

The championship was attended by Lt Col Ali Saud al-Hanzab, director of the Police Institute, Lt Col Khulood Anbar al-Nuaimi, director of the Women's Police Institute, Adel al-Marzouqi, executive director of the Qatar Taekwondo, Judo and Karate Federation as well as guests from the National Service Academy and several department heads and officers.

The participants of the 33rd Basic Police Course showcased individual and group performances in Taekwondo. The winners were honoured.
