Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, in two phone calls on Tuesday, discussed the alarming humanitarian crisis unfolding in the Gaza Strip as well as the need for an international stance to secure a ceasefire there with Belgian Foreign Minister Hadja Lahbib and Albanian Foreign Minister Igli Hasani.

Jordan News Agency (Petra) said that the two calls underscored the imperative need for an immediate ceasefire and the unimpeded delivery of aid to all parts of the Gaza Strip, in addition to exploring targeted initiatives aimed at preventing further escalation, particularly in areas like Rafah, from a broader Israeli offensive.
