The Ministry of Education and Higher Education organized the second edition of remembrance competition for first and second grade students in all government schools. The competition aims to develop the spiritual aspect among students, instill the virtue of remembrance in their souls, encourage them to compete and excel, as well as strengthen their connection to the noble prophetic tradition and Islamic values by acquainting them with the supplications recited by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and encouraging them to follow his example in both words and actions.

As many as 93 schools participated in the competition, and the first stage was organised internally within the schools to select the best students to represent them in the final qualifiers, with a total of 370 male and female students, 50% of whom are Qatari nationals. The announcement of the winning schools in the top positions is scheduled to take place during the ceremony organized by the ministry in May, to honour the winners from various competitions of the Early Education Administration.

Zubeida al-Khalifi, who is the director of the early education administration at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, highlighted the impact of the competition on the students' souls and the role of their families.

She added that the remembrance competition had a positive impact in instilling the value of love for remembrance, memorization, and daily recitation, reflecting the Early Education Administration's commitment to nurturing the emotional and spiritual aspects of students from an early age, to ensure comprehensive development integrating skills, behaviours, and emotions, by fostering a spirit of competition, and enriching the learning community, which will benefit our country's future by establishing a generation capable of influencing with their skills and values.
