The Police College team won the first place in the Qatar Universities' Futsal Tournament 2024, organised from March 16 to 27 at the Qatar University (QU) Sports & Events Complex. University of Doha for Science and Technology team (UDST) won the second place, while the third place went to QU. The winners were crowned by Qatar Collegiate Sports Federation (QCSF) president Dr Ibrahim bin Saleh al-Naimi, the Police Academy president Brigadier General Abdul Rahman Majid al-Sulaiti, UDST president Dr Salem Al-Naemi and vice president for student life and services Dr Mohammed Diab.
QCSF secretary general Rashid Saeed Adiba honoured the referees, tournament’s best player, best goalkeeper and best scorer. The tournament brought together eight teams distributed into two groups. Group A comprised the Police College, GSI with Arkansas State University–Qatar , QU and Lusail University, while Group B featured Ahmed Bin Mohammed Military College, UDST, Police Institute and Hamad Bin Khalifa University. QCSF board member Rashid al-Tamimi thanked the organising committee.
