Two Palestinians were injured by bullet and others suffocated last night during confrontations with occupation soldiers in Al-Khader town, south of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank.
The confrontations were concentrated in the vicinity of the Great Mosque and Al-Tall area of the Old City, during which the occupation forces fired bullets, stun grenades and toxic tear gas. Two citizens were injured with live bullets and were transferred to the hospital, while others suffered from suffocation and were treated in the field, local sources reported.
The sources added that the occupation forces arrested three citizens during the confrontations that broke out in Al-Tall area in the Old City of Al-Khader.
Furthermore, a young Palestinian woman was injured with live bullets during the Israeli occupation forces storming of Burqa village, northwest of Nablus in the northern West Bank.
The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that a young woman (31 years old) was injured with live bullets in the shoulder while she was in her home, after the occupation forces fired live bullets during their storming of the village. She was transferred to the hospital for treatment.
Moreover, the occupation forces stormed the village from several entrances, which led to the outbreak of confrontations, during which the soldiers fired live and rubber bullets, stun grenades and tear gas, local sources said.
In a related context, the occupation forces arrested a young man from Nour Shams camp, east of Tulkarm and two others from Al-Issawiya town, north of occupied Jerusalem.
Various parts of the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem witness daily raids and incursions into villages and towns by the Israeli occupation forces, accompanied by confrontations, arrests, and the firing of live and rubber bullets and toxic tear gas bombs. The pace of these campaigns increased in conjunction with the unprecedented and continuing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7.
