The College of Health Sciences (CHS) at Qatar University (QU) honoured 217 of its outstanding female students with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher in the Spring 2023 and Fall 2023 semesters, through an annual ceremony honouring Dean’s List students.
The ceremony, held in the presence of families of the outstanding students, had QU officials including CHS dean Dr Hanan Abdul Rahim, Academic Quality and Strategy assistant vice president Dr Mohamed Ahmedna and CHS assistant dean for Academic Affairs Dr Layla Kamareddine. Eman al-Muhannadi, the host of the ceremony and a student in the Department of Biomedical Sciences, gave the opening remarks. The CHS dean welcomed the gathering with a speech. The ceremony also included speeches from the families of the students on the Dean's List, followed by the distribution of medals.
