Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari awarded the Hilal Quaid-e-Azam Award to HE Director-General of the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) Khalifa bin Jassim al-Kuwari during the celebration of Pakistan Day at the Presidential Palace in Islamabad. The honour comes in recognition of the efforts made by Qatar, through the QFFD, to strengthen developmental co-operation with Pakistan, particularly in education, infrastructure, and humanitarian aid.
