In the early hours of Monday, several Palestinians, including children and women, were killed and injured in a series of Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling. The attacks targeted the vicinity of the Al-Shifa Hospital in western Gaza City and various areas across the Gaza Strip, including Deir al Balah, the Kuwait Roundabout, Rafah, and the eastern parts of Khan Younis.
The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) quoted its sources as saying that a number of Palestinians were martyred and others injured due to Israeli artillery and air strikes around the Al-Shifa Hospital in western Gaza, amid heavy fire from Israeli vehicles and tanks.
Local sources said that the occupation forces demanded through loudspeakers the immediate evacuation of Al-Shifa Hospital, which has been under siege for the eighth consecutive day.
Additionally, according to sources, the occupation forces targeted committees responsible for distributing humanitarian aid at the Kuwait Roundabout.
In Deir al Balah's Al Hakr area, several people were injured due to the bombing of the Abu Amra familys home. Meanwhile, the death toll of the Salman family rose to 18 after their home in Al Bayader Street in the central Gaza Strip was bombed.
A number of citizens were also martyred and injured as a result of the targeting of the Barhoum familys home in the Yibna camp in central Rafah city. Health sources at the Kuwaiti Hospital reported the arrival of several martyrs and wounded due to the Israeli occupation bombardment of homes in the camp.
The Israeli occupation has continued its aggression on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7 via land, sea, and air, resulting in 32,226 martyrs, most of whom are children and women, and more than 74,518 injuries. Thousands of victims remain under the rubble and on the streets, as the occupation prevents rescue teams from reaching them, in addition to causing massive destruction and an unprecedented humanitarian crisis.
