Al Shaqab, a world-class facility built on Qatar’s Arabian horse heritage and a leading global centre for equine professionals, will conclude its Ramadan Nights programme Saturday.

Over three evenings from 8pm to midnight, the itinerary featured fun heritage activities, including Arabian Horse shows, lantern workshops, traditional games, Medoud, and many more activities including traditional food and beverages.

"On the final day Ramadan nights, we will be hosting a momentous Garangao celebration where children will have an opportunity to decorate and customise their Garangao bags before they collect their goodies," a statement said.

"At Al Shaqab, you and your family will enjoy the traditional festive atmosphere that reflects the ancient traditions and revives popular heritage amid songs that bring back memories of the beautiful past. It is a chance for today's children to experience the beautiful days of yesterday's children and their society.

"Al Shaqab’s impressive facilities, distinctively designed in the shape of a horseshoe, cover 980,000sqm. With a state-of-the-art Main Arena comprising both an indoor and outdoor venue capable of holding over 5,000 spectators, Al Shaqab is part of Qatar’s growing reputation on the world stage that showcases its ability to host major international sports event at the highest level," the statement added.
