Turkish authorities today announced arresting 26 persons in the city of Diyarbakir, in southeastern Turkiye, suspected of being affiliated to the banned Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
Anadolu news agency quoted security sources as saying that the arrests came within the framework of Diyarbakir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office's investigations against PKK members.
Turkish security and army forces often target sites belonging to the PKK, active within and without Turkiye, pursuing PKK members in response to their attacks against Turkish security and army personnel and citizens.
