Italian-born Emirati driver Federico al-Rifai extended his overall Formula 4 Saudi Arabia Championship lead with two impressive wins in the Qatar Gulf Prix which took place at the Lusail International Circuit late Saturday. Al-Rifai won Race 1 and Race 4, while Faisal Alkabbani and Omar Aldereyaane also notched up victories in the Qatar round, the third leg of the championship. In Rookie Class, Saudi Arabia’s Aldereyaane won two races, while Serbian driver Andrej Petrovic and Kyrgyzstan’s Kirill Kutskov also secured victories in the same category. Emerging Qatari racer Jabor al-Thani also displayed impressive talent, securing second place in the Rookie Class in Race 2 of the Championship which took place for the first time in Qatar.
