Al Jazeera Media Institute and the Orphan Care Centre "Dreama" have announced the launch of co-operation in "Dreama Media Ambassadors initiative." The announcement was made at a press conference in the presence of Sheikha Najla bint Ahmed al-Thani, executive director of Dreama Centre, and Hamadal-Houl, director of Planning and Projects Department at the Al Jazeera Media Institute. This initiative comes as a unique opportunity for Dreama children to actively participate in the media content industry and develop their skills exceptionally.
Dreama Media Ambassadors initiative reflects a unique approach in empowering the people of Dreama and developing their capabilities in the field of media. The programme includes intensive trainings, interactive workshops, and guidance from media experts, with a view to building a new generation of media professionals.
Alghanim, head of Preparation & Design Unit, Dreama, said: "This initiative is an important step towards achieving our goals embodied in our vision to build a new generation of creative and influential media professionals who are able to deliver media messages, as we seek the renewable energies of our children day after day, and we see in them a passion and a serious desire to innovate. This makes it our responsibility to provide opportunities and create the right environment for them to show their creativity."
Al-Houl highlighted the vision and role that Al Jazeera plays in this initiative, saying: "This co-operation reflects our commitment to supporting education and developing media cadres and contributing to the development of youth skills that are part of the Qatar National Vision 2030."
He added: "Al Jazeera Institute believes in the importance of these programs being a vital role in shaping the future of media. We are here to provide them with the tools and knowledge that enable them to realize their full potential and positively influence in society."
Dreama Ambassadors Programme offers a variety of intensive training courses covering various aspects of media, including journalistic writing, photography, and editing. Participants benefit from the opportunity to explore multiple media fields and develop their skills comprehensively. The initiative forms a bridge for the children benefiting from the services of Dreama centre to join the world of media with confidence and readiness.
