Qatar has secured the presidency of the Permanent Committee of Arab Media at the Arab League for the next term.
The amazing achievement was accomplished through the efforts exerted by Qatar Media Corporation (QMC). Accordingly, Qatar's candidate Abdulrahman bin Nasser al-Obaidan, Media Consultant at the office of the Chairman of QMC, won the highest number of votes, that exceeded his competitors from Iraq and Yemen.
Such key successes are attributed to the wise directives of HE Sheikh Hamad bin Thamer al-Thani, QMC President and QMC CEO Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Thani al-Thani, a statement said. Besides, QMC has exerted continuous efforts to enhance its relations and participation at the regional and Arab media scene.
Meanwhile, QMC has expressed its sincere thanks and appreciation to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the support given to the QMC candidate to win the presidency of the committee.
