The Council of Ministers General-Secretariat hosted the trainees of the Ministry of Justice's Legal and Judicial Studies Center during the 21st mandatory training course for jurists, organized by the center.
During the 4-day event, the participants were briefed on the nature of the work of the Council of Ministers General-Secretariat, especially in the field of legislation, while presenting practical models of the work and tasks of the various departments related to legal work with the aim of imparting more knowledge and skills to the trainees.
The event included 97 trainees, divided into four groups, during which they learned about the operation of various types of legislative tools, with a special explanation for each type, starting with the proposal of the concerned authority and presentation to the esteemed Cabinet, all the way to the study stages of the Legislation Department and the Standing Committee for Legislative Affairs in the Council of Ministers General Secretariat, and ending with issuing these tools and publishing them in the official gazette. They also learned about the nature of the relationship between the legislative and executive authorities.
The field visit concluded with a dialogue session that included answering the questions and inquiries of the trainees, who expressed their deepest thanks and appreciation to the Legislation Department of the Council of Ministers General-Secretariat for the valuable information that enriched their legal culture.
