The meeting of the High-Level Ad Hoc Working Group of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), on preparations for the seventh summit of the GECF, began today in Algiers with the participation of the State of Qatar.
The meeting will discuss the agenda of the Summit of Heads of States and Government of the gas exporting countries, the agenda of the Extraordinary Ministerial Council, and the Algiers Declaration.
The extraordinary ministerial meeting will begin tomorrow, Friday, followed by convening the CECF summit to ratify the Algiers Declaration.
The GECF's Gas Research Institute premises is set to be inaugurated later today at the headquarters of the Algerian Ministry of Energy and Mining.
Further more a report of international gas forecasts will be presented to the Forum. (QNA)
