“We have travelled by air and this time we wanted to make a difference. And the first step was to buy the van,” Park said while explaining tghat they wanted to take a break from the agricultural business in Daegu area in South Korea and embark on a world trip to know the cultures and people.
At Daegu, the duo worked in agriculture and livestock. Known for its abundance of fruit production, Daegu is called 'Apple City'.
In Doha, the couple visited various tourist destinations including Souq Waqif, the Corniche and the Grand Mosque where they were lent a warm welcome by the locals. “We explore the local places and attended receptions from the local institutions and individuals,” he said.
The van is the place to travel, sleep and cook fresh meals. “We savour local cusine during the camping,” Park said adding that they’re offered food and water during their journey by kindhearted persons.
