The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) dropped 3.90 points, or 0.04%, at the beginning of trading on Sunday, reaching 10,045 points, compared to Thursday's closing.
The performance of QSE general index was weighed down by a decline in four sectors: Transportation by 0.67; Real Estate by 0.59%; Consumer Goods and Services by 0.44%; and Industrials by 0.05%. However, QSE index saw a rise in Telecoms by 0.58%; Insurance by 0.18%; and Banks and Financial Services by 0.02%.
At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 2,012 transactions worth QR 55.785 million, distributed among 21.090 million shares. (QNA)
