The Palestinian Presidency praised the positions of several countries in the world, including Germany, Britain, France and the United States, rebuffing Israeli entity's attempts to recolonize the Gaza Strip and slamming such measures as a violation of international law.
The Presidency stressed in a statement that these condemnations reject any calls and attempts aimed at the recolonization of Gaza because such calls contravene international law, according to the Palestinian news agency (WAFA).
"It is long overdue to implement the resolutions of international legitimacy and international law on the occupied Palestinian territory and to put an end to Israel's crime of genocide, ethnic cleansing, and forced displacement of Palestinians, whether in the Gaza Strip or the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem," read the statement.
Recently, several ministers of the occupation government and right wing Knesset members held a meeting in the Occupied Jerusalem, calling for the resettlement of the Gaza Strip and the occupied northern West Bank, along with incitement to displace the Palestinian people from their land.
