A US F-16 fighter jet crashed in waters off South Korea's west coast on Wednesday and the pilot was rescued after jumping from the aircraft.
The plane crashed in the water near the city of Gunsan, 274 kilometers south of the capital, Seoul, according to Yonhap News Agency
The US Kunsan Air Base is located in the city of Gunsan, which operates F-16 aircrafts.
