Qatar University (QU) welcomed students from the University of Southern California’s (USC) Rossier School of Education, who visited as part of their Global Executive Doctor of Education programme, designed for senior educational leaders, policymakers, administrators, and other professionals who are committed to improving educational outcomes on a large scale.
The students visiting the QU campus are enroled in the hybrid learning experience of this programme, which combines online classes with nine one-to-two-week intensive class sessions at various international destinations.
During their visit, QU director of International Affairs Office, Cesar Wazen delivered a presentation covering the history of QU, it’s colleges and programmes. Dr Khalid al-Khanji, chief, Strategy and Development, highlighted QU’s strategy and vision for the future. Dr Ibrahim al-Kaabi, vice president for Academic Affairs was on hand to answer student questions in relation to academic programmes and student profile.
