HE the President of the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority (ACTA), Hamad bin Nasser al-Misnad, met with Director of the Anti-Corruption Agency of Uzbekistan Akmal Burkhanov and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, they discussed topics related to anti-corruption and ways to reinforce co-operation and activate the memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed between the two sides with respect to organising joint training courses, seminars, and conferences to promote employees' capabilities, in addition to sharing expertise, information, laws, educational evidence and methodological guides on the prevention and combating corruption.
In remarks to Qatar News Agency (QNA), HE al-Misnad emphasised that the relationships between Qatar and Uzbekistan are robust, noting the two nations' keenness to enhance co-operation in anti-corruption field, especially since Qatar and Uzbekistan have advanced experience in fighting corruption.
