With a primary objective to create awareness against bullying and fostering a safe and inclusive environment, a session was conducted at MES Indian School for the students of Class IV in co-operation with Aman (Protection & Social Rehabilitation Center, Qatar). Amna al-Mahmoud (head, Preparation and Design Department) and Abdul Aziz al-Muhannadi (lecturer, Community Awareness Department) were the resource persons.
They enlightened students on the importance of recognising, preventing bullying, and ways to avoid bullying at school. Principal Dr Hameeda Kadar underscored the importance of providing awareness on the behaviour patterns of children and creating a peaceful learning atmosphere on the campus. Teachers Shalima Semeer and Meghna welcomed the gathering and proposed a vote of thanks, respectively. Fashna Abdul Samad, Department of Guidance and Counselling, co-ordinated the event.
