HE the Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr Mohamed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh al-Khulaifi, met Friday with the visiting UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, Tor Wennesland.
The meeting discussed the latest developments in the situation in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories. During the meeting, HE Dr al-Khulaifi stressed the necessity of continuing the sustainable entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, and strengthening regional and international efforts aimed at an immediate ceasefire.
Wennesland thanked Qatar for its continued efforts to mediate for the release of prisoners in the Gaza Strip.
