HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met in his office at the Amiri Diwan on Thursday with HE Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom David Cameron who his visiting the country.
The meeting discussed cooperation relations between the two countries, notably in the field of development aid, as well as discussing the region's developments, especially regarding the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories.
His Excellency stressed, during the meeting, the need to strengthen regional and international efforts in order to reduce the escalation in the region, underlining that the current priority must be ending the war in Gaza and prevent its spread, which contributes to enhancing regional and international security and stability.
