Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index slightly declined at the beginning of Thursdays trading, reaching the level of 10,370 points, down by 2.81 points or 0.03%, compared to Wednesdays close, under pressure from some sectors.

Qatar Stock Exchange figures attributed the decline in the performance of the general index to the negative performance of some sectors. The Bank and Financial Services sector decreased by 0.10% and the Industrial sector by 0.02%. On the other hand, the Consumer Goods and Services sector rose by 0.32%, the Telecoms sector by 0.30%, the Insurance sector by 0.22%, the Real Estate sector by 0.12% and the Transportation sector by 0.09%.

At around 10:00 am., Qatar Stock Exchange recorded trades worth QR 78.586 millions, distributed among 32.046 million shares, with 3,042 transactions. (QNA)
