An Amiri Order was issued here Wednesday assigning HH Prime Minister Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah as Deputy Amir while the Amir of Kuwait was out of the country. The measure would remain valid until a Crown Prince was named.
The Order stipulates that HH the Prime Minister informs the National Assembly of this order and that it takes effect once published in the official gazette, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.
HH the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah issued on Jan. 4 an Amiri Order appointing HH Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah as Prime Minister. (QNA)
