The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) dropped 11.48 points, or 0.11%, at the beginning of trading on Wednesday to reach the level of 10,350 points, compared to yesterday's closing.

The performance of QSE general index was weighed down by a decline in most sectors: Transportation by 0.72%; Consumer Goods and Services by 0.54%; Insurance by 0.45%; Telecoms by 0.20%; and Bank and Financial Services by 0.01%.

However, QSE index saw a rise in Industrials by 0.50%, while Real Estate sector remained stable.

At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 3,169 transactions worth QR 113.345 million, distributed among 42.688 million shares. (QNA
