HE the Minister of Labour and Chairman of National Committee for Combating Human Trafficking Dr Ali bin Smaikh al-Marri chaired Tuesday the committee's first periodic meeting for 2024.
The meeting focused on developing an action strategy to enhance the committee's initiatives in addressing human trafficking throughout 2024. Several proposals were examined to improve protective measures and support for victims of human trafficking, to reinforce the NCCHT's engagement in addressing this issue, and to increase collaboration with relevant authorities and organisations, thereby strengthening the protection and assistance provided to victims of human trafficking.
