His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani inaugurated the strategic fighter jet wing No. 5 Ababil (F15 QA) of the Qatar Amiri Air Force at Al Udeid Air Base Tuesday.
His Highness the Amir made a tour during which he was briefed on the newly-manufactured Ababil F15 QA aircraft and their combat capabilities, and the most prominent methods of modern technology used in it. His Highness the Amir also made a tour during which he was briefed on the immediate take-off building (air-to-air) and (air-to-surface), pilots building, in addition to visiting the aircraft depot and maintenance building.
