The Lebanese Parliament's website was subjected to an electronic hacking attempt on Monday.
The technical authority supervising the management and protection of the site has frozen it, and is working to address the issue, the Council stated.
This comes days after BeirutRafic Hariri International Airport was hacked, as the departure and arrival screens were subjected to electronic hacking, showing a warning against dragging Lebanon into war with the Israeli entity; which caused security confusion.
Online piracy is illegal activities that target information systems and computers with the aim of accessing or manipulating sensitive information. These activities include data theft, disruption of services, espionage, and network penetration.
