US and British aircraft launched attack on a number of Yemeni governorates.
The US and British air strikes targeted the governorates of Hodeidah, Taiz, Dhamar, Al Bayda and Saada, the Houthi group in Yemen said.
The United States carried out another round of strikes against Houthi targets in Yemen, US official said.
On Jan. 12, the US, UK, and eight other countries issued a joint statement, in which they explained that the US and British strikes that targeted the Houthi group in Yemen "were intended to disrupt and degrade the capabilities the Houthis use to threaten global trade and the lives of international mariners in one of the worlds most critical waterways".
