HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi met today with HE special envoy of the Chancellor of Austria Peter Launsky-Tieffenthal, who is visiting the country.
The meeting discussed cooperation relations between the two countries and the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories.
During the meeting, HE the Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the continuing mediation efforts of the State of Qatar to release the hostages and reach a permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
For his part, HE the special envoy of the Chancellor of Austria expressed his country's thanks and appreciation to the State of Qatar for its efforts to release the hostages and its role in the evacuation operations. (QNA)
