Dozens of Palestinians were martyred and injured in the early hours of Friday as the Israeli occupation continues its devastating war of genocide against Gaza Strip for the 98th consecutive day.
In central Gaza, Israeli warplanes targeted a residential building in the Al-Mashaala neighborhood in Deir Al-Balah. Simultaneously, the Israeli artillery shelled the town of Al-Zawaida and the neighboring Nusseirat and Al-Bureij refugee camps, resulting in casualties, Palestinian news agency (WAFA) reported.
In Khan Yunis, south of the Strip, over 30 bodies of martyrs arrived at hospitals in the city due to the ongoing Israeli airstrikes in various parts of the province.
Further, the Israeli air force conducted intense raids in the central area of Khan Yunis, targeting ambulance and rescue crews as they worked to transport the wounded and retrieve the martyrs.
Earlier last night, nine Palestinians were martyred and others were injured in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a residence in the Shawka area, east of Rafah in southern Gaza.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its teams transported nine martyrs during the Israeli targeting of the Abu Senema family home in the neighborhood.
Meanwhile, displaced families seeking shelter in UN schools in northern Gaza are facing dire conditions due to the ongoing Israeli blockade on the region, preventing fuel deliveries to municipalities and causing a halt to essential services.
In a preliminary toll, the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip since Oct. 7 has led to the murder of 23,469 people, predominantly women and children, and approximately 60,000 people wounded. Nearly 8,000 people are unaccounted for.
