Qatar Charity (QC) organised an educational-humanitarian trip for Qatari students to Istanbul and Gaziantep in Turkiye.
The nine-day trip allowed 10 Qatari students aged 11-15 years, along with several supervisors, to experience the reality of refugees and orphans sponsored by QC.
These trips aim to instill the values of charitable work in the hearts of participants, raise the level of pride in Arab, Islamic, and humanitarian values, deepen the principles of responsibility and seriousness in academic and professional life, and to train participants in volunteer and humanitarian work in the field.
A participant, Abdulrahman Ali al-Dabagh, stated: "I have a beautiful feeling because we brought joy to people's hearts and made an impact on their lives.”
Trip supervisor Hilal Mohamed AlMamari, said: "Such visits enhance charitable values among the younger generation." This trip was the third in a series organised by QC, aiming to allow the participants to experience fieldwork in countries where it has offices.
