The Israeli occupation forces stormed the city of Jenin and its outskirts in the occupied West Bank last night.
According to Palestinian news agency (WAFA), several military vehicles stormed the city from all sides, mainly the western entrance from the camp and Al-Sikka Street. The bulldozers started destroying the infrastructure at the entrance to the city, the outskirts of the camp, and Al-Sikka Street, leading to violent confrontations with the Palestinians in several neighborhoods. The occupation force also fired light bombs in Jenin camp.
WAFA noted the presence of large military build-ups of Israeli occupation forces in the outskirts of Jenin city on all sides, in addition to drones and reconnaissance aircraft in the skies of the city and the camp.
The occupation forces later stationed in the outskirts of Jenin camp and Al-Zahraa neighborhood, and deployed snipers on the rooftops of several buildings.
The occupation sent new reinforcements from Al-Naserah Street, and its bulldozers began destroying the streets, infrastructure and a number of vehicles, as well as the structures in the new camp.
The Israeli occupation forces had previously stormed the city of Tulkarm in the northern West Bank.
Different parts of the occupied Jerusalem and West Bank are subjected to daily arrest campaigns and incursions by the Israeli occupation forces who often clash with the Palestinians and fire live and rubber bullets and poisonous gas bombs. The pace of the occupation's assaults increased in conjunction with the unprecedent brutal Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, which left thousands martyred and injured, mostly children and women.
