The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose 4.33 points, or 0.04%, at the beginning of trading on Tuesday, to reach the level of 10,487 points compared to yesterday's closing.
The QSE general index was supported by a rise in Insurance by 0.70%; Real Estate by 0.46%; Consumer Goods and Services by 0.09%; Industrials by 0.08%; Banks and Financial Services by 0.03%. On the other hand, the index saw a decline in Transportation by 0.03%; and Telecoms by 0.13%.
At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded 2,288 transactions worth QR 58.284 million, distributed to 20.689 million shares. (QNA)
