At least 21 people were injured following an explosion that appeared to be caused by a gas leak at the Sandman Hotel in the city center.
No one was killed, and authorities were investigating the causes of the blast.
It was announced earlier that 11 people were injured as a result of the explosion, including three people whose health condition ranged from critical to serious, while the rest had minor injuries.
Spokesman for the Fort Worth Fire Department in the US state of Texas, Craig Trojacek, said that paramedics rescued several people trapped in the hotel basement, noting that one of the injured was in critical condition, four others were in serious, but not life-threatening, condition, while the others sustained minor injuries.
Trojacek added that 26 hotel rooms were occupied when the explosion occurred, and that a restaurant in the building had been under construction but it was not definitive that is where the blast occurred.
