The Israeli entity continued Monday its assaults on villages and towns in southern Lebanon.
Field sources reported that the Israeli artillery bombed Khiam town with the internationally banned phosphorous bombs on Monday morning.
The Israeli entity also targeted the Karkazan area, northeast of Meiss El Jabal village, with phosphorus shells at midnight.
Also at midnight, the Israeli warplanes launched two raids between Al-Hadab and Al-Rahib areas, west of Ayta ash Shab village, and a third raid between the villages of Ayta ash Shab and Debl.
Since the outbreak of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on Oct. 7, the border areas in southern Lebanon have been subject to continuous bombardment by the Israeli entity, forcing thousands of residents to be displaced. (QNA)
