The national football team of Saudi Arabia kick-start Thursday at 4:00 pm their first friendly game against the Lebanese team at Thani Bin Jassim Stadium in Al Gharafa Club, ahead of the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 that will kick off on January 12 until February 10, 2024.
The Saudi Arabian Football Federation announced today that the Saudi national team will play three friendly matches in Doha against Lebanon, Palestine and Hong Kong on Jan. 4, Jan. 9, and Jan. 10, respectively.
The Saudi team continues its training program by setting up a camp in Sealine, Qatar, as part of the final stage of the preparation for the Asian Cup competitions.
Placed by the draw in Group F, it will begin its campaign by facing Oman on Jan. 16 at Khalifa International Stadium, followed by Kyrgyzstan on Jan. 21 at Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium. It will conclude the group stage by meeting the Thai team on Jan. 25 at Education City Stadium. (QNA)
