The Israeli occupation forces have arrested nearly 4,695 Palestinians in the West Bank since the outbreak of the aggression against the Palestinian people on Oct. 7, according to the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) and the Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs Authority.

In a brief statement released Sunday, the PPS outlined that the tally includes the Palestinians detained at their homes and at military checkpoints, in addition to those who surrendered under pressure and those taken hostage.

The statement added that the Israeli occupation forces continue to carry out widespread acts of abuse, brutal assaults, on-field interrogations, and threats against detainees and their families.

Additionally, there have been reports of extensive sabotage and destruction of homes belonging to Palestinian civilians, coupled with the confiscation of their properties, added the statement. (QNA)
