The Association of Secretaries-General of Arab Parliaments commended the success of Qatar in mediating between the United States of America and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela on the exchange of a number of prisoners.
HE the President of the Association, Ahmed bin Nasser al-Fadala, said that the success of the Qatar's mediation between the United States of America and Venezuela reaffirms Qatar's position as a reliable partner at the regional and international levels, and is a reflection of its effective role in establishing peace and enhancing security and stability in the region and the world.
He said that this great diplomatic work is a source of pride and adds further achievements to the rich and bright record of Qatar as a facilitator of co-operation and peace between countries at all levels, Arab, regional and international.
