The General Directorate of Civil Defence at the Ministry of Interior (MoI) celebrated on Thursday the graduation of police cadets who undertook two firefighting foundation courses.
According to a statement from the MoI, 91 police cadets graduated.
The courses aimed to equip the participants with the necessary skills for evolving civil defence tasks, thoroughly preparing them for roles in rescue operations, firefighting, the protection of lives and properties and civil defence.
Civil Defence assistant director-general Lieutenant-Colonel Mohamed Ahmed Ma’refi and several officers attended the graduation ceremony.
