Qatar Charity (QC) continues to receive donations to provide the people of Gaza with urgent relief materials and urged Qatar residents to continue their solidarity to the cause, a statement said on Wednesday. Since the outbreak of the crisis in Gaza, QC has launched solidarity campaigns with the Palestinian people to alleviate the severity and difficulty of the circumstances they are going through.
These included 'For Palestine,' 'One Heart, '10 Aid Aircraft for Palestine' and 'Palestine Duty'. The donations for the '10 Aid Aircraft for Palestine' amounted to QR20mn and equipped 20 aircraft. These campaigns culminated in QC's participation in the 'Palestine Duty' on Qatar National Day, which raised more than QR200mn. The campaign, organised by the Regulatory Authority for Charitable Activities in Qatar, was also in partnership with the Qatar Red Crescent Society, and in cooperation with the Qatar Media Corporation, to support Gaza.
