Apple announced that it will soon stop sales of its Series 9 and Ultra 2 smartwatches in the United States from this week, as it deals with a patent dispute over the technology that enables the blood oxygen feature on the devices.
The move follows the International Trade Commission's (ITC) ruling in the long-running patent dispute between iPhone maker and medical technology company Masimo over the technology that enables the blood oxygen feature on device.
Apple's Series 9 and Ultra 2 smartwatches will not be available for order from Apples website after Dec. 21, while the smartwatches in retail stores will not be available for sale after Dec. 24. (QNA)
