The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a five-day closure at Umm Lekhba (Landmark) Interchange on the bridge linking Al Qaabiya Street and Al Shamal Road in the direction of Doha from December 15 to December 20. The closure, in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, is to carry out some maintenance work. During the closure, road users coming from Al Qaabiya Street must continue towards Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor to the south and then use the Thani Bin Jassim Interchange to reach their destinations. Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the temporary closure and requested all to follow them and abide by the speed limit to ensure safety.
